Trabajan para sofocar incendios en distintos puntos de la provincia.

En las últimas horas, la irresponsabilidad de anónimos provocó que en distintos sectores de la provincia haya quema en pastizales y cañaverales a la vera de distintas rutas nacionales y provinciales. Uno de los puntos más álgidos fue en la zona de Alberdi donde equipos del Comité de Emergencia trabajaron para sofocaron los incendios.

La intendenta Sandra Figueroa aseguró que el pasado viernes y sábado recibió diversos mensajes de los vecinos preocupados por la constante quema. “Desde el Municipio, ya están en curso todas las denuncias, en los organismos de la provincia, Secretaría de Medio Ambiente del Ministerio de Desarrollo Productivo, Defensa Civil, la Dirección de Delitos Rurales y Ambientales de la Policía de Tucumán dependiente del Ministerio de Seguridad”, afirmó.

Figueroa señaló que “en lo que va del 2020, se registraron más de 1.000 denuncias a través del número de emergencias 103 de Defensa Civil. Lo que equivale en promedio a 50 denuncias por día, vinculadas a la quema en distintas modalidades”.

La intendenta, además, llamó a la comunidad a tomar conciencia para prevenir y evitar los incendios, a fin de cuidar el sistema de salud pública porque “es un momento donde los centros sanitarios están abocados por la pandemia de coronavirus a fin de evitar contagios y tratar pacientes”.

Alarma en la provincia

El titular de Defensa Civil, Fernando Torres, a su turno, comentó que recibió denuncias de quema de caña y pastizales en Monteros, Cruz Alta, Burruyacú, Concepción, Alberdi, Tafí Viejo, Lules, Banda del Río Salí y Sierra de la Ramada.

El funcionario aseguró que los Bomberos Voluntarios trabajaron en todos los focos de incendio y afirmó que “en el caso de Alberdi, hay que coordinar y organizar con los bomberos y el municipio para habilitar pistas en esos lugares”.
