Un concejal propuso cancelar la temporada de verano 2021
Un concejal del partido bonaerense de General Alvarado presentó un proyecto para que no haya temporada de verano 2020/21 en Miramar, ante el riesgo de la población local frente a la pandemia de coronavirus, y propuso compensar las pérdidas económicas del sector con el 50% de las dietas de funcionarios públicos más un impuesto a la riqueza.
Se trata del único miembro del bloque Cangapol en ese cuerpo, César Pafundi, cuya propuesta insta al municipio, a cargo de Sebastían Ianantuony, a tomar resoluciones de forma inmediata para evitar una ola de contagios por coronavirus.
El proyecto de Pafundi propone que los funcionarios donen el 50% de sus dietas y que se implemente un impuesto municipal a la riqueza para paliar la crisis económica y la falta de ingresos por turismo.
El edil dijo -en declaraciones radiales- que «Miramar tiene cinco camas para pacientes con Covid-19 y un sólo terapista», por lo que «si hay temporada, la situación sanitaria será catastrófica».
«Si nosotros somos 30.000 habitantes y en una temporada estándar los turistas oscilan entre 100.000 y 150.000, la cuenta es peligrosa», añadió el concejal
