Uruguay: vuelven los cines tras su cierre por la pandemia
Hoy reabre los cines del circuito comercial, con medidas de distanciamiento y protocolos sanitarios. En México los cines reabrieron el 12 de agosto pasado, en algunas ciudades del país, y en Quito, capital de Ecuador, los cines volvieron a funcionar a fin de agosto.
La reapertura en Uruguay de ahora será de a poco: esta semana y la siguiente los complejos Movie y Life tendrán funciones de jueves a domingo, para evaluar la respuesta del público y las medidas sanitarias. En los complejos Grupocine, las funciones serán todos los días. Con la llegada de las salas vuelven los estrenos.
Las entradas, a la venta presencial y por las páginas web de cada complejo, valen 308 pesos uruguayos (unos 7 dólares).
El martes a la noche se conocieron las actualizaciones al protocolo sanitario para las salas de teatro y cine. Entre las novedades, se permite tener más de una función diaria por sala y se eliminó la fila libre. De esta forma se podrá contar con más público en cada función. En los complejos Life ya se habilitó la venta a más de una función por día.
“Arrancamos con dos funciones por sala por día porque habíamos armado una programación flexible porque sabíamos que esa autorización estaba por salir. Cuando se nos informó de esta fase nueva, habilitamos la segunda función”, dijo Mariana Chango, CEO de los complejos Life Cinemas.
Por esta semana, los complejos Movie tendrán una función por día “para evaluar cómo viene el fin de semana. Igualmente estamos bien, con buen nivel de ventas. Todavía no agotamos, pero venimos bien”, dijo María José Scremini, gerenta de marketing de Movie.
Además se realizará un doble chequeo de temperatura en estos complejos, ya que al estar dentro de los shoppings, se toma la temperatura a cada visitante al ingreso y en Movie volverán a controlar. “Nos parece una seguridad para todos”, dijo Scremini.
Se permite en todos los complejos consumir pochoclo y bebidas, únicamente dentro de la sala, no así en los espacios de tránsito como pasillos. Y los complejos prepararon algunas promociones para los primeros espectadores.
Esta reapertura con medidas sanitarias también contará con dispensadores de alcohol y la sanitización de los aires acondicionados.
En Argentina y Brasil no hay novedades por el momento sobre la reapertura de cines.
Estos meses han golpeado con fuerza al sector que cerró sus puertas el 13 de marzo. A nivel local y mundial, por ejemplo, no pudieron estrenar los títulos del segundo trimestre del año.Allí estaban la nueva de aventura de James Bond, Sin tiempo para morir, la novena entrega de Rápidos y furiosos o la película de superheroína de Marvel, Viuda Negra.
Con cerca de mil millones de dólares de recaudación estimados para cada título, no es muy difícil hacer un diagnostico del estado financiero de los estudios de cine, y detrás de ellos, el de los distribuidores y las salas de cine. Los estrenos fueron cambiando de fecha durante este período; algunos serán más cerca del final del año, otros se reprogramaron para 2021.
