UTA evalúa si realizará un paro de transporte en Tucumán
La crisis del transporte público se agudiza, empresarios afirman que no tienen el dinero para abonar los salarios del mes de marzo.
Una historia repetida vuelve a escena esta semana. El drama del transporte público suma un capítulo de incertidumbre. Este miércoles venció el plazo para hacer efectivo el pago de los salarios del mes de marzo y la respuesta que obtuvieron los trabajadores es que los empresarios no tienen los fondos para cumplir con las obligaciones salariales. Así comenzaría a gestarse un nuevo paro de ómnibus y 600.000 pasajeros quedarían una vez más a la deriva.
Los empresarios nucleados en AETAT ya habían anticipado este escenario y en las últimas horas lo ratificaron, “No estamos en condiciones de pagar, sólo algunas empresas podrán dar un anticipo el viernes. Los subsidios nacionales y provinciales ($ 227 millones) no alcanzan ni siquiera para hacer frente a la planilla salarial. No sabemos este mes si se nos abonará el subsidio provincial o no, o nos descontarán las cuotas del préstamo de $ 300 millones de comienzos de año”, explicó Luis García, referente de AETAT.

En tanto, hay 3600 choferes que otra vez comienzan a transitar horas de incertidumbre porque no saben cuándo percibirán sus haberes y ,más grave aún, no saben cuál será el futuro de sus fuentes laborales.
El secretario general de UTA César Gonzalez afirmó; “Continúa la lenta agonía del transporte”. El dirigente gremial indicó que mantuvo reuniones con delegados y representantes de los empresarios para analizar qué medidas tomar. Este jueves, los choferes continuarán con las deliberaciones que determinarán si se avecina un nuevo paro del transporte público.
