Sobre el oficialismo expresó: «Me parece que Jaldo desde este ascenso rápido supo que esta administrando el gobierno que es de otro, todas las decisiones están atadas a Juan Manzur. Y Jaldo sabía que cada gesto que pudiese tomar era para redito de su gestión y un rédito personal. Por un lado busca diferenciarse de Manzur y ahora viene la parte de decir que va a hacer ahora este vicegobernador a cargo del ejecutivo.» agregó

Respecto a la oposición, manifestó: «Nunca hay que subestimar al oficialismo porque además Tucumán es una provincia que históricamente acompaño con el voto al peronismo. Pero es cierto que Juntos por el Cambio se ha acercado, pero hay que relativizar porque es una elección intermedia, no es una elección a gobernador.

Hubo un interna tremenda en el peronismo pero también en Junto por el Cambio. El mismo Alfaro lo dijo, que no es la foto de la fórmula considerando que hay tres personas que expresaron que quieren ser candidatos a gobernador.»
