El legislador Raúl Albarracín envió una carta al presidente del Comité Nacional de la UCR, Gerardo Morales, para darle a conocer el pedido formulado por el días pasado a fin de que “el partido se ponga a disposición de la Constitución, defendiendo la vigencia y supremacía y se presente en el proceso que promueve el Partido Justicialista, cuyo objeto es adelantar las elecciones provinciales en Tucumán”, señala la carta.
Albarracín explica en la carta que ha solicitado a la Junta de Gobierno Provincial, a través de su presidente Roberto Sánchez, se presente a dicho proceso como tercero interesado o amicus curiae, según corresponda, “toda vez que el oficialismo gobernante pretende, de manera manifiesta, apartarse de los preceptos constitucionales, consagrados en nuestra Carta Magna provincial, fijando la fecha de elecciones según sus antojadizas conveniencias”, explica el parlamentario.
Culmina la misiva sosteniendo sobre la gravedad constitucional e institucional que dicha pretensión podría generar en caso de resultar positiva. Por lo mismo solicitó que, mediante el Comité Nacional de la UCR, se arbitren los medios necesarios a fin de que la Junta Provincial no sea indiferente ante la situación planteada, “pues la misma resulta de tal gravedad que afecta la calidad institucional de nuestra provincia, poniendo en peligro las bases mismas de nuestro sistema Republicano”, culminó.
