Plantaron 120 Nuevos ejemplares de pacará, Ibirá puita, Tarco y Aguaribay crecen en el camino alternativo del acceso a la ciudad. El intendente de Bella Vista, Sebastián Salazar (UCR – Juntos por el Cambio), encabezó hoy una jornada de forestación comunitaria en el camino alternativo de acceso a la ciudad, junto a estudiantes de 10 escuelas, cuatro asociaciones civiles y vecinos.
La jornada finalizó con la declaración del segundo Árbol Notable de la ciudad, según ordenanza municipal 42 del año 2020; en la cual se establece que todos los años se debe elegir un árbol representativo de la ciudad para difundir sus características y promover su preservación y cuidado. “En esta ocasión, el árbol notable del 2022 es el Ibirá Puitá que está ubicado en la Plaza Inclusiva”, contó Rocío Dip Maderuelo, secretaria de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible, que participó del encuentro junto a la concejala Ana Paula Quiles, entre otros funcionarios.
“La mitigación y adaptación al cambio climático se han convertido en la agenda global más urgente. La restauración ecológica mediante la implantación de especies nativas es uno de los caminos por el cual debemos transitar” agrego Dip Maderuelo.
“Esta jornada está enmarcada en el programa municipal de forestación urbana que venimos llevando adelante con el propósito de incrementar y consolidar el arbolado urbano, promoviendo la conciencia ambiental y mejorando la calidad de vida de los vecinos, mediante la generación de un entorno más verde y saludable”, señaló Dip Maderuelo.
En total se plantaron hoy 120 especies nativas: pacará, Ibirá puita, Tarco y Aguaribay y contó con el asesoramiento de la sociedad Amigos del Árbol.
“Estamos encabezando una serie de acciones que tienen que ver con el cuidado del medio ambiente. En esta oportunidad con la forestación, pero el municipio viene trabajando también sobre el manejo de los residuos, concientizando sobre la importancia del reciclado, de la reducción de basura, el consumo responsable y los eco canjes que tienen mucha aceptación entre los vecinos”, dijo Salazar.
“Queremos dejarle un mundo mejor a nuestros hijos y por eso hoy estamos sembrando presente para construir un futuro”, agregó Salazar.
“Este es un claro ejemplo del buen funcionamiento de las instituciones. Tenemos una ordenanza sancionada por el Concejo Deliberante y un Departamento Ejecutivo que hace cumplir las normas. Cuando se trabaja en equipo se consiguen buenos resultados”, manifestó la concejal Ana Paula Quiles.
“Ninguna política pública tendrá éxito sin en el compromiso de la comunidad, por eso, lo maravilloso de la jornada fue ver el entusiasmo con el que cada actor social participó de esta propuesta ambiental”, concluyó Quiles.
