Detuvieron a Teto Medina por asociación ilícita y reducción a la servidumbre

El conductor promocionaba un centro de rehabilitación en Berazategui que no estaría habilitado. Además de él, otras 16 personas fueron arrestadas y la policía busca a tres mas.

Marcelo Teto Medina fue detenido el jueves por la mañana en su casa en la ciudad de Buenos Aires en el marco de una investigación por “asociación ilícita, reducción a la servidumbre y trabajos forzados”. Gustavo D’Elía abogado de Medina confirmó la noticia a Teleshow y dijo que con su colega Adrián Tenca ya están trabajando en el caso.

Según contaron en Telefe Noticias, el conductor se presentaba como el “operador socio terapéutico” de un centro de rehabilitación especializado en adicciones en Berazategui llamado La razón de vivir, donde se realizaron los allanamientos y algunas detenciones (el ex VideoMatch fue arrestado en CABA).

Él, junto con otras veinte personas -16 ya están detenidas- estarían acusadas de asociación a ilícita, reducción a la servidumbre, abandono de personas y usurpación de autonomía y títulos ya que el lugar no tendría habilitación. La policía se encuentra buscando a quien se presentaba como director del lugar.

“En este momento se están realizando 20 operativos con la participación de la Dirección de Investigaciones complejas de la policía de la provincia de Buenos Aires. A Teto Medina lo detuvo la policía bonaerense en La Plata”, explicó Augusto Telias  al mismo momento que se realizaban los allanamientos.

Las imágenes emitidas por el noticiero correspondían al centro de rehabilitación que Medina mostraba y promocionaba en sus redes sociales. Además, agregaron que no sería el cabecilla de la asociación, sino un hombre llamado Néstor Zelaya.

Incluso en sus redes sociales el animador de televisión se presenta como “MOTIVADOR” y detalla: “Operador Socio terapéutico especialista en adicciones. Doy charlas motivacionales.. Se puede”.

El año pasado en una entrevista televisiva para Canal 9 de Salta había contado sobre el centro y su labor: “Trabajo en comunidades terapéuticas con chicos que tienen adicciones. Doy mi testimonio y por otro lado, les contamos sobre la problemática del tema. Les damos nuestros tips para superar el conflicto. Mi rol es organizar reuniones terapéuticas con todos los miembros de la comunidad y que aprendan a sacar el dolor y la angustia. Estoy muy entusiasmado con esto”.

A las charlas no solo asisten los pacientes con algún tipo de adicciones -puede ser a las drogas, el alcohol, la comida o a otras sustancias-, sino también sus familiares, unos actores decisivos en el proceso de recuperación. “En los tratamientos, cuando hay un adicto en la familia los que están alrededor son fundamentales. Hay que buscar el problema para resolverlo. Y cuando uno comparte con el otro llega a esa respuesta mucho mejor, porque tal vez al otro le pasó lo mismo que a uno. Es muy sanador”.

Según contó Pía Shaw el año pasado en LAM,. Marcelo vivió un momento incómodo: “El Teto llegó para hacer una de estas charlas y no lo vieron en una muy buena situación. Amablemente desde el centro le pidieron hacerse este test, a lo cual él se negó, se enojó muchísimo y se retiró del lugar sin dar la charla. Esto está confirmado por la gente que está en el lugar y todos los que estaban ahí. No es que vas todos los martes y te hacen el doping, te van siguiendo según cómo te ven. Lo vieron en una situación un poco rara, por eso le dicen que querían hacerle este test. El Teto finalmente se niega, se va enojado del establecimiento y se retira”.
