“Dólar Qatar”: cotizaría alrededor de $300 y “debutaría” en una semana
Nace un “nuevo dólar”, y van…..!
Con el objetivo de cuidar las escasas reservas y ante la fuerte presión de las principales cámaras empresarias argentinas (UIA, CAME, Construcción y Adefa, entre otras), el Ministro de Economía, Sergio Massa, se encuentra definiendo los últimos detalles sobre cómo funcionará el “dólar Qatar” para los que viajen al Mundial y para quienes salgan de la Argentina. El nuevo tipo de cambio pasará a costar casi $300.
Si bien todavía no se oficializaron los detalles técnicos, el esquema elaborado por el Ministerio de Economía para gastar con tarjeta en el exterior, comprar pasajes o reservar hoteles consiste en un nuevo tipo de cambio de $200, el mismo que rige actualmente para el “dólar soja”. A ese monto se le agrega el impuesto PAIS de 30%, mientras que la retención de Impuestos a las Ganancias será más baja que la actual: pasaría del 45% a cerca del 20%.
El nuevo esquema comenzará a regir inmediatamente después que finalice el tipo de cambio especial para las cerealeras que liquiden los dólares provenientes de la soja, o sea el 30 de septiembre. Significa que desde el arranque de octubre ya se pondría en marcha el nuevo esquema cambiario para el turismo.
Si bien los cambios regirán para todos los turistas que viajen al extranjero, la mirada está puesta particularmente en el Mundial. Los números que manejan en el Ministerio de Economía y el de Turismo indican que un total de 43.000 argentinos viajará a Qatar (ya compraron entradas o paquetes). El impacto sobre las reservas no bajaría de los USD 1.000 millones.
Uno de los primeros impactos de la medida lo sentirán quienes compren pasajes para viajar al exterior y quienes contraten paquetes para las vacaciones de verano. Automáticamente se encarecerán cerca de 20% en pesos.
No sería la única modificación que impulsaría Massa. La más relevante es que se incentivará a los extranjeros que llegan a la Argentina a gastar con tarjeta y pasar por el mercado oficial. Para eso también se le reconocería un tipo de cambio cercano a los $300. Tendría un costo para el Banco Central en concepto de emisión monetaria, pero al mismo tiempo le permitirá captar una mayor cantidad de dólares provenientes del turismo internacional.
