Desde Estados Unidos, Mauricio Macri participó de manera remota de una reunión del bloque de Diputados y bajó línea sobre la conducta que debe tener el PRO para no perder su lugar de cara al armado opositor en 2023.
“El PRO vino a cambiar el sistema, al que no le gusta tiene que entender que ése es el origen de nuestro espacio y no podemos permitir que el status quo nos gane”, sostuvo el expresidente, quien se encuentra en Florida para exponer en una universidad.
“El cuidado de las instituciones, con un kirchnerismo que avanzaba, era muy importante. Eso nos mantenía en la unidad. Ahora tenemos la responsabilidad de ser el cambio y darles propuestas de soluciones a los argentinos. La unidad por la unidad misma no sirve si no representamos el cambio”, ahondó el referente de Juntos por el Cambio sobre idea que había expresado en el almuerzo del lunes, con Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, Patricia Bullrich y María Eugenia Vidal, entre otros dirigentes.
Uno de los presentes en la reunión virtual sostuvo que «la unidad es fundamental, pero la prioridad ahora es el cambio”. A lo que Macri respondió: “Sostuve la unidad en la construcción de este espacio y cuando fui presidente la prioricé por encima de muchas de mis ideas. Ahora no podemos ir hacia un lugar que seamos un siga-siga y no un cambio real para la Argentina”.
Días atrás, el exmandatario ya había expresado su malestar por las últimas votaciones del bloque y pidió tomar distancia del radicalismo en los proyectos que amplían el gasto del Estado, crean organismos burocráticos o aumentan los impuestos. “Si no nos diferenciamos, vamos a pagarlo electoralmente”, advirtió con preocupación por el crecimiento de Javier Milei en una porción del PRO.
El reclamo de Macri potenció la tensión y los resquemores entre los socios de la coalición opositora. “No cometamos el error de traer los problemas de la coalición en términos políticos al ámbito legislativo”, alertó una de las espadas radicales en el Congreso
