El pasado lunes 22 de agosto Libres del Sur comenzó una campaña para juntar un millón de firmas. De forma tal que el Congreso de la Nación, en los marcos del Artículo 39 de la CN y la ley Nº24.747 que lo reglamenta, trate un proyecto ley que presentaremos para congelar por 12 meses los precios de los productos de la Canasta Básica de Alimentos y las tarifas de la luz y el gas. En Conferencia de Prensa el Legislador Federico Masso presentó los resultados de la campaña a nivel nacional y provincial. Estuvo acompañado por la Lic. Yanina Muñoz, Asesora en problemáticas sociales; Lucas Gómez, Responsable Territorial de Libres del Sur, Ernesto Gómez Rossi, Director del ISEPCi; y la Dra. Florencia Guerra, Asesora Jurídica.
En este contexto el Legislador Masso expresó «La inflación es un flagelo que afecta duramente los bolsillos de los ciudadanos. El gobierno, en los marcos del ajuste exigido por el FMI que lleva adelante, no le pone ningún límite a esta situación. Esto nos llevó a plantear este proyecto de ley y conseguir la cantidad de firmas que requiere el artítuclo 39 de la CN y la ley Nº24.747».
En este sentido el Legislador Provincial añadió «Hoy podemos decir que hemos superado ampliamente el objetivo de 1 millón de firmas y que 1.849.507 de argentinos y argentinas se sumaron a esta iniciativa popular. En Tucumán también hubo una buena recepción y fueron 164.965 los vecinos y vecinas que adhirieron con su firma a lo largo y ancho de la provincia».
«Queremos destacar la participación de la ciudadanía ante la realidad socioeconómica tan dura que vivimos, y con temas tan sentidos como los precios de los alimentos de la Canasta Básica Alimentaria y las tarifas de agua y gas»; finalizó Masso.
