Manzur acudió a la Justicia para poder ser candidato a vicegobernador de Tucumán
El jefe de Gabinete, Juan Manzur, presentó un amparo ante la Justicia para poder ser candidato a vicegobernador en Tucumán, tras anunciar que dejará su actual cargo el próximo año para regresar a su provincia.
La Constitución tucumana le prohíbe tanto al gobernador como a su vice la posibilidad de candidatearse para un tercer mandato. Sin embargo, no explica si también aplica para el caso del gobernador que sea candidato para ocupar el segundo cargo de mayor importancia en la provincia a la elección continua a su segundo mandato.
Frente a esto, el funcionario nacional apuntó a esa falta de claridad para impedir que la normativa no lo deje presentarse.
“El art. 90 de la Constitución de Tucumán prohíbe expresamente la reelección del gobernador y vicegobernador para sus respectivos cargos después de haber cumplido dos mandatos consecutivos”, explicó en el amparo.
“Luego contempla la posibilidad de que el vicegobernador pueda aspirar a la primera magistratura, con reelección de un nuevo periodo», continuó.
“Lo que la Constitución Provincial no prevé es la alternativa de que el gobernador pueda aspirar a la vice gobernación, resultando así que la necesidad de despejar cualquier duda sobre el particular es, a todas luces, impostergable”, argumentó Manzur.
Y siguió: “Se torna imperioso aventar toda duda e incertidumbre a los fines de soslayar la existencia de maniobras de todo tipo, tendientes a impedir el respeto de la voluntad popular en el marco propio de un Estado de Derecho”.
El actual jefe de Gabinete dijo que su postura “se trata de hacer cesar una omisión normativa que trae aparejada una lesión irremediable sobre la posibilidad de postular como candidato a la vicegobernación de la Provincia, en el marco del proceso electoral que se desarrollará el año venidero en nuestra Provincia”.
Por otro lado, Manzur menciona la confianza que le brindó el peronismo en Tucumán: “Ha pensado en mi persona como candidato a vicegobernador, para continuar aportando mi experiencia, mi trabajo y mis convicciones al servicio de nuestro pueblo”.

Manzur está de licencia como gobernador de Tucumán desde septiembre de 2021, cuando el presidente Alberto Fernández lo designó como jefe de Gabinete en reemplazo de Santiago Cafiero.
Una vez que aceptó ese cargo, se fue a Buenos Aires y asumió en su lugar su vice, Osvaldo Jaldo.
Tucumán fue una de las provincias que desdobló las elecciones locales de las nacionales. Elegirá a su próximo gobernador el 14 de mayo de 2023. (NA).
