Rodolfo Ocaranza: «El precio del estacionamiento pago (en las calles del centro) es más barato que pagar una cochera»

El secretario de Gobierno de la Capital, Rodolfo Ocaranza, rechazó las críticas contra el nuevo sistema de estacionamiento pago en el centro de la capital, que lleva una semana vigente, y negó que se pueda modificar la tarifa.

«Tenemos que tener en claro una cosa, la actividad (de los cuidacoches) es absolutamente informal, sin vínculo con el municipio desde hace años. Es una realidad social compleja y por eso armamos una comisión de trabajo con concejales para ver qué alternativas se les da», explicó Ocaranza en contacto con Café Prensa. Y agregó: «lo que tenemos hoy es una concesión otorgada, un contrato que cumplir de una ordenanza aprobada por el Concejo. No me voy a olvidar  que hubo un fuerte reclamo contra el municipio para que se regularice la situación tras un crimen que hubo en el 2020, entonces estamos haciendo lo que se nos pidió: a tomar el toro por las astas. Por supuesto que esto no significa que vayamos a expulsarlos (a los cuidacoches), y en esta situación cae gente que trabaja bien y gente que no es de la mejor. Haremos una tarea similar que con los cartoneros, cuando durante dos años generamos un registro, otorgamos zonas, horarios, un camión, una planta de reciclaje y esa tarea social es un ejemplo: veremos si podemos hacer lo mismo con ellos. Desde la Municipalidad vamos a poner toda la imaginación, creatividad y marco legal para que puedan tener una vida digna».

Respecto a los reclamos de trabajadores que se desempeñan en el centro y suelen estacionar los autos durante jornadas completas, Ocaranza reiteró que el valor de referencia -fijado en el 50% del litro de nafta súper- depende de la política de combustibles del gobierno nacional. «El precio del estacionamiento pago es más barato que pagar una cochera, es el 50% del litro de nafta súper. Veo en la calle menos autos, una de las políticas que nos llevó a tomar esta decisión fue ir en el sentido de las ciudades modernas donde se desalienta el ingreso al casco histórico. Si va a subir la nafta va a subir el valor, como sube todo. El valor lo fija por contrato el 50% de la nafta súper. El valor de los combustibles es un precio indicado fijado por el Gobierno nacional. A los que piden informes les pido que lean la ordenanza, es porque estamos entrando en una etapa política», respondió el funcionario municipal, respondiendo al reclamo del edil peronista Gonzalo Carrillo Leito.
