«Tenemos un sistema de subsidios energéticos que es pro-ricos»
El ministro de Economía, Martín Guzmán hizo sus primeras declaraciones luego del cruce con el subsecretario Federico Basualdo. «En un país con 57 por ciento de pobreza infantil estamos gastando en subsidiar el consumo de luz y gas en una parte de la población de altos ingresos», sostuvo.
El funcionario, se refirió al actual sistema de subsidios al sistema energético y pidió autocrítica por un esquema que definió como «pro-rico».
Guzmán habló en el marco de los anuncios realizados este viernes por el presidente Alberto Fernández en términos de ayuda social. “Nosotros también debemos ser autocríticos. Hoy tenemos un sistema de subsidios energéticos que es pro-rico. En un país con 57 por ciento de pobreza infantil, estamos gastando en subsidiar el consumo de luz y gas en una parte de la población que hoy no es prioritario que reciba esos subsidios, barrios en donde vive gente de altos ingresos”, expresó el titular del Palacio de Hacienda.
“Esos recursos tienen que ser utilizados para aquello que más necesita la sociedad Argentina hoy. Nuestro compromiso es poder agilizar la gestión y poder, desde el punto de vista de las inversiones del Estado, dedicar los recursos a aquellos que más lo precisan”, resaltó Guzmán.
También señaló que «la política es el instrumento para la transformación de la realidad y el Presidente siempre marca una línea que consideramos sana para la Argentina y va a tranquilizar a nuestra economía y a la sociedad». «Esa línea es la de los acuerdos y los consensos, como el lugar desde el cual construir en forma colectiva, entendiendo que hay veces que el conflicto es inevitable, pero hay que administrarlo con respeto y responsabilidad”, agregó.
Fueron las primeras declaraciones del ministro después del cruce con el subsecretario Federico Basualdo sobre la suba de tarifas energéticas. Guzmán insistió en que “hace falta financiamiento, tener recursos. La consistencia de la macroeconomía, algo que suena muy técnico, es algo que afecta de forma directa la vida de la gente. Cuando no se actúa de forma consistente es cuando los problemas se vuelven más profundos y se agravan”. Guzmán es partidario de subas escalonadas para bajar el impacto de los subsidios al sector, mientras que Basualdo se había manifestado a favor de no aumentar más allá del 9 por ciento.
