El secretario de Obras Públicas de SMT, Alfredo “Fredy” Toscano, se refirió a la actual interna dentro de Juntos por El Cambio. Además, manifestó que no vería voluntad política al radicalismo para integrar el espacio.
Toscano señaló que desde “el Partido por la Justicia Social vamos a seguir hasta último momento bregando por la unidad y buscando la unidad”. Respecto a la última reunión de la mesa provincial de JxC, el funcionario manifestó que la sensación que les dejó es que “lo que uno va conversando, no se va cumpliendo. La verdad que no veo voluntad”. Luego remarco que en este sentido lo que estaba primando eran intereses individuales, aunque lo importante es “privilegiar un proyecto colectivo, hay que ser competitivo”. Además, expresó su opinión sobre la fórmula Sánchez – Murga, donde expresó que no tenía nada contra el referente de la Sociedad Rural tucumana pero que es “casi inocente creer que es una fórmula (…) cuando todos sabemos que lo mejor que le puede pasar es Sánchez Alfaro/ Alfaro Sánchez”. “La verdad que yo creo que esto es nada más que funcional a que el peronismo siga gobernando en esta provincia por cuatro años más”, afirmó.
Sobre los candidatos a intendentes por la Capital, Toscano aseveró que, si bien le gustaría ser el candidato, pero manifestó que es “un hombre de proyectos, de tratar de generar las condiciones para ganar. A mí no me gusta perder, entonces creo que tenemos que llevar el hombre que nos permita retener el municipio de San Miguel de Tucumán a Juntos por el Cambio”.
