Fue herido en el brazo durante la manifestación realizada a pocas cuadras de la residencia presidencial. Se investigan las circunstancias. Alfredo Cornejo le respondió al Presidente, que expresó que «no va a aflojar» ante el banderazo contra la expropiación de Vicentin.
La Unión Cívica Radical le respondió a Alberto Fernández luego de que realizara una publicación con una referencia a Raúl Alfonsín. «No voy a aflojar», afirmó el jefe de Estado ante el masivo banderazo en todo el país en contra de la expropiación de Vicentin. Sin embargo, desde el espacio político opositor cuestionaron sus dichos y afirmaron que el expresidente radical hubiera obrado de forma distinta.
El primero en cruzar a Fernández por sus dichos fue el propio presidente de la UCR Alfredo Cornejo, que le respondió en Twitter: «Si quiere hablamos de marchas. ¿Sabe en qué marcha hubiese estado hoy Raúl Alfonsín? Él estaría junto Dionisio Scarpin, intendente radical. Allí en Avellaneda, Santa Fe, defendiendo la democracia contra el populismo».
