Tucumán lidera el registro de intentos de femicidio a nivel nacional
Los números son impactantes indicó Yanina Muñoz del observatorio de Mumalá. En el mes de julio se registró un fuerte aumento en los intentos de femicidios en todo el país, y por sobre todo en nuestra provincia.
Los intentos de femicidios registrados en el 2022 en todo el país fueron 244, de los cuales 43 son de nuestra provincia.
En lo que va del año se registraron 224 muertes violentas de mujeres en todo el país en total, 139 fueron femicidios, y 2 ocurrieron en Tucumán. Anteriormente, en los años de pandemia 2020 y 2021 Tucumán fue la provincia con más femicidios sumando 19 en cada año. “Ahora se alcanza el mayor registro en intentos de femicidios, con un porcentaje mayor que en otras provincias”; indicó Muñoz.
Otro dato preocupante que destacó Yanina Muñoz es que más de la mitad de los casos de femicidios denunciaron a sus atacantes previamente. “Son datos para impulsar el tipo de políticas que pedimos. Creemos que tenemos que tener una mirada integral acompañando la víctimas de intentos de femicidios”; expresó.
