«Necesitamos un cambio profundo en Tucumán para priorizar el Turismo»

Bernardo Racedo Aragón, ex presidente del Ente Tucumán Turismo, aseguró que está afuera de la política y que, aunque siempre quiso ser intendente de Yerba Buena y que inclusive anheló poder llegar a la gobernación, la derrota en 2015 y en 2019 terminaron con esa aspiración. Comentó con orgullo la marcha de su última inversión, el parque RAKI en Yerba Buena, y aseguró que Tucumán no cuenta con un estadio único porque no hay decisión política.

Dedicado de lleno a la actividad privada, comentó con orgullo que el objetivo de RAKI es que esté orientado para diversión de familias y grupos de amigos, sin límite de edad: «el parque RAKI fue  la inversión privada más importante en turismo que hubo el año pasado, porque cuando se cerraban restaurantes, hoteles, mucha de la gastronomía se caía, salimos a apostar e invertir en algo con contenido turístico. El proyecto RAKI tiene un 80% de mercado pensado en el tucumano. RAKI tiene juegos en altura. Son tres productos en el parque en Avenida Aconquija 3210, que en una hectárea tiene un bar, un primer parque con juegos de tirolesa de 220 metros y 32 metros de pendiente. Una palestra para escalar en tres caras, con 12 metros de altura, más o menos 4 pisos. Todo siempre con seguridad. El tercer juego es el arborismo, son puentes colgantes de 10 metros de largo, con dificultades diferentes. En total son 96 puentes y ocho circuitos, con niveles de complejidad adaptados a edades y niveles de movilidad.

También creamos juegos idénticos al ras del piso pensando en niños y niñas, que es totalmente seguro. El objetivo es que sea un sitio de celebración en familia, con niños, grandes, abuelos… todos puedan festejar un cumpleaños diferentes», expuso Racedo Aragón. «Tenía muchos negocios pero ninguno orientado al turismo porque no me parecía correcto, RAKI fue el primer negocio turístico después de muchos años y fue un beso para mí mismo. No me parecía ético ser funcionario de turismo y tener una empresa relacionada».

Consultado sobre la realidad del sector en la provincia, el ahora empresario hizo un análisis minucioso: «el turismo es una escalera: cada gestión de turismo va haciendo un escalón. Mi sensación es que esa escalera está demasiado lenta. Tucumán necesita hacer una inversión fortísima en materia turística. Que es más global de lo que sucede: los pasos para incorporar a Tucumán al turismo real deben ser más profundos y fuertes. Uno mira lo que pasó en Salta, con 220 hoteles, centro de convenciones y el reciclaje de ciertos circuitos… el turismo no pasa por el secretario de Turismo, sino por una decisión política global. Tucumán todavía no la tuvo: en mi gestión inauguramos 72 hoteles, quintuplicamos la conectividad aérea, hicimos la Cumbre del Mercosur y 300 congresos, pero la percepción es de que Salta vive del turismo mientras que en Tucumán es una actividad secundaria. Acá importa el azúcar, el corte en el bioetanol, el limón, la metalmecánica, el comercio y por último el comercio», consideró.

Tomó como modelo exitoso al trabajo en turismo de Santiago del Estero: «a Santiago, como modelo, lo admiro. El rol del turismo es buscar siempre la llegada de más recursos. Santiago lo viene logrando: inversión en el autódromo, Moto GP, el estadio mundialista, el campo de Golf, rutas mejoradas, accesos mejores… es una política amplia y global. Hace falta una decisión fuerte del gobierno para apoyar el turismo. Desde esa mirada, es lo que tenemos pendientes en Tucumán. Necesitamos un cambio profundo. Lo digo como autocrítica de mi gestión también, porque sé que Tucumán tiene con qué hacerlo».

¿Sobre el Estadio Único?, se le preguntó. «No tenemos Estadio Único porque ninguno de los gobernadores lo ha visto como prioridad. Si no ponemos la prioridad en el turismo, no va a salir. No es un tema de recursos, porque hay dinero en determinada cantidad de gastos quizás superfluos que pueden reorganizarse. Es mucho más lo que hace falta en Tucumán. Hace falta una inversión de verdad, una decisión que la ha tomado Salta, la está tomando Santiago. No es una crítica, estoy diciendo con objetividad una realidad que dicen los tucumanos. Viene un visitante y nos dice que los accesos están sucios, y no lo cruzamos porque es verdad. Entras por el aeropuerto y es calamitoso si tienes un corte de ruta. Entras por San Andrés, hicieron un portal hermoso pero el zanjón de al lado… tenemos problemas estructurales que no soluciona un secretario de Turismo, sino una decisión política que debemos tomar a menos que el turismo no sea importante o una prioridad. No es pecaminoso decidir que el Turismo no es central», consideró.

Racedo Aragón, fuera de la política

Consultado sobre su carrera política, Racedo Aragón dijo que se encuentra afuera. «Creo que hay pocas posibilidades de que el peronismo gane en Yerba Buena, no por (la gestión de Mariano) Campero, sino porque si nosotros no nos hubiéramos dividido en 2015 con Sisto Terán, no habríamos perdido la ciudad. Yerba Buena es esquiva además para el peronismo por un tema ideológico, el peronismo debe estar muy unido y compactado para poder ganar de nuevo. Yo ambicionaba en 2015 ser intendente de Yerba Buena y luego poder ser gobernador. Es la lógica, es la idea de crecimiento, pero cuando no gané en 2015 y tampoco en 2019, la edad no me da para una carrera política, por eso creo que es momento de dar un paso al costado y que el camino lo continúen dirigentes jóvenes. Por eso me dedico a la actividad privada», consideró.
